Generate Client ID and Client Secret for Revenue Grid and Salesforce integrations¶
This article explains how a Revenue Grid platform admin can generate a Client ID and Client Secret for Revenue Grid’s Salesforce integrations, such as the Revenue Grid managed package or Salesforce Scheduler integration.
Prerequisites¶
- You must have a Revenue Grid Platform Admin account to access the Admin Panel and perform this action.
Important notes¶
- The Client Secret is displayed only once—immediately after the integration is created. Copy and store it securely, as it cannot be viewed again later.
Steps to generate Client ID and Client Secret¶
- Sign in to the Revenue Grid Admin Panel using your Platform Admin credentials.

Navigate to Administration > App integrations.

Click Create integration in the top-right corner of the page.

Fill in the integration details:
- Title: Enter a name for the integration (for example, RG managed package).
- Client ID: Leave this field empty. It will be generated automatically.
- Client Secret: Leave this field empty. It will be generated automatically.
- Active: This field is read-only at creation and will be enabled by default. You can disable it later if needed.

Lifetime: This field is read-only during creation, but can be modified after saving.

Click Save at the bottom of the form. After saving, the system will display the Client ID and Client Secret.

Copy the Client Secret immediately after creation and store it securely. It will not be shown again after you close the dialog.
