Manage presets¶
Presets in Revenue Grid provide a consistent and scalable way to configure Sidebar and Sync settings across users and profiles. Managing presets helps administrators maintain control over their settings library, track changes, and quickly adapt or reuse configurations as needed. This article explains how to rename, clone, or delete presets, track where they are assigned, and view change history.
Rename a preset¶
You can rename any custom preset to keep your configuration library clear and organized. Note: You cannot rename the DEFAULT SETTING PRESET.

Go to Administration → Presets.

Click the More options icon () next to the preset and select Rename.

Enter the new name in the Name field.

Click Save.
Clone a preset¶
Cloning allows you to create a new preset based on an existing one, including the default preset. This is useful for testing variations or starting a new configuration from a known setup.

Go to Administration → Presets.

Click the More options icon () next to the preset and select Clone.

(Optional) Enter a new name in the Name field.

Click Save.
The new preset opens automatically, so you can begin reviewing or editing its settings.
Delete a preset¶
You can remove any custom preset that is no longer needed. Note: You cannot delete the DEFAULT SETTING PRESET.

Go to Administration → Presets.

Click the More options icon () next to the preset and select Delete.

Confirm the deletion in the dialog box.
Check which presets are assigned to profiles¶
You can view which presets are currently assigned to each profile in your tenant.

Go to Administration → Profiles.

Review the Settings preset column.
Preset status examples:
No preset
– The profile has no preset assigned (e.g., before switching to preset mode).<deleted preset>
– The previously assigned preset was deleted.preset name
– The assigned preset, such as “Sales Team Preset”.
Check which presets are assigned to users¶
You can check preset assignments from either the users’ perspective or the preset’s perspective.
From the users’ perspective¶
Use this view to audit which users are assigned to which presets.

Go to Administration → Users.

Review the Settings preset column.
Preset status examples:
<no preset>
– No preset is currently assigned.<deleted preset>
– The user’s assigned preset was deleted.<preset name>
– The assigned preset.
From the preset’s perspective¶
Use this view to see which users are assigned to a specific preset.

Go to Administration → Presets.

Select a preset and open the Users tab.

Review the list of assigned users.
View preset change history¶
The Activity tab shows a detailed history of all changes made to a preset. This is helpful for auditing, tracking updates, and troubleshooting.

Go to Administration → Presets.

Select a preset and switch to the Activity tab.
The log includes:
- Date – When the change occurred.
- Changed by – The user who made the change.
- Type – Type of modification.
- Details – Specific settings changed or values updated.
Additional tools:
- Search – Filter changes by keyword.
- Date filter – Narrow the view to a specific time range.
- Export to CSV – Click the download icon to export the log.
- Copy to clipboard – Use the copy icon to copy individual entries.
View applied settings for a user¶
You can review the actual settings applied to any user to confirm configuration or troubleshoot inconsistencies.

Go to Administration → Users.

Search for and select a user.

Open the Sync settings, Sidebar objects, and Sidebar advanced settings tabs to view the user’s effective configuration. Each tab shows the settings applied from the assigned preset, along with any user-level changes.
By managing presets effectively, you ensure consistent configuration across your organization, reduce manual errors, and streamline administration. The ability to track changes and monitor usage helps you stay in control and scale your setup confidently.
