[managed package]
In some cases, for troubleshooting purposes, you may need to disable one or several of triggers added by the Revenue Grid managed package.
Important
Disable these triggers for troubleshooting purposes only. The triggers are necessary for proper and expected functioning of Revenue Grid products. Disabling a trigger blocks Revenue Grid’s ability to create and update records of the related type in Salesforce.
To disable one or several triggers:
- Click on the Gear ⚙ icon and select Setup
- In the Quick Search field, type “Custom Settings”
- Click Manage on Trigger Settings
- Click New
-
In the Location drop-down list, select whether you want to disable a trigger for a Profile or for a User
-
Click on the search icon to look up for a specific Profile or User
-
Select which trigger(s) must be disabled
InstantSyncTrigger allows Revenue Grid to instantly down-sync calendar items from Salesforce to user’s mailbox.
EventTrigger allows Revenue Grid to check specific conditions and update some custom fields on the parent object (Contact, Lead, Opportunity) when a new Event is created.
OpportunityTrigger allows Revenue Grid to update fields on Opportunity records by Revenue Grid.
TaskTrigger allows Revenue Grid to check specific conditions and update some custom fields on the parent object (Contact, Lead, Opportunity) when a new Task is created.
- Click Save to enforce the changes
After disabling the triggers, they will no longer update the related objects in Salesforce.
