AI Mentor Chat is intuitive and conversational. You can ask questions using everyday language—no technical terms or special formatting required.
Ask effective questions¶
To get the best results, be as specific as possible:

Conversations are saved for 30 days, so you can always return to a previous thread and continue where you left off.

AI Mentor doesn’t just give you an answer—it explains why the answer makes sense. When applicable, it provides:

Data sources for Mentor’s responses¶
AI Mentor generates responses using CRM data you have authorization to access, including Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Tasks, and other related records. It analyzes this information to understand your current activity, customer relationships, and business priorities, providing guidance tailored to your role.
If your organization uses Revenue Grid AI Assistants, Mentor can access a broader set of insights beyond CRM records, like activity data captured during customer interactions, meeting and call summaries, assistant-authored insights, etc. With this enriched context, Mentor gains a more complete understanding of your workflows, allowing it to detect gaps like missing decision-makers, surface objections raised in conversations, and recommend precise next steps based on actual engagement history.
Customization and adaptability¶
AI Mentor becomes more effective when it’s configured to reflect your company’s structure, messaging, and goals. When enabling AI Chat, admins can provide key company-specific details in the AI preferences section of the Admin Panel, including:
- Company name – used in responses for personalization
- Competitors – helps Mentor identify competitive mentions in deals
- Company description – improves contextual understanding
- Sales enablement information – allows Mentor to surface relevant content and follow your preferred messaging

Data security and access control¶
AI Mentor is built with enterprise-grade security and complies with your visibility settings in Salesforce and Revenue Grid. It only accesses data you are authorized to view and generates responses strictly within those permissions.
All data is processed according to Revenue Grid’s Privacy Policy and AI Functions Terms and Conditions.
