How To Install the Solution using a Mobile Device

 

Note

Presently, due to a limitation in MS Outlook Mobile, RGES Add-In can only be used in MS Outlook for Android or iOS with Office 365 mail accounts, and not with MS Exchange accounts. At that, users’ data from MS Exchange accounts can handled using Revenue Grid synchronization, through auto-saving or the custom “Salesforce” category / folder / list, as described in this article

Note

RG Email Sidebar is not a stand-alone Android or iOS application, it is an Add-In installed in web, desktop, and mobile implementations of MS Outlook

 

How to install RG Email Sidebar Add-In in MS Outlook for iOS

1. Install and set up MS Outlook for iOS and on your iOS device, if you do not have it installed

2. If you installed the Add-In in your MS Outlook Desktop or On the Web version account previously, it will automatically appear in your MS Outlook for iOS after you log in to this email account. Otherwise follow the steps below to install the Add-In:

2.1. Swipe left to right in MS Outlook for iOS interface

2.2. Tap the Gear (Settings) button in the lower left corner of the modal window that appears

2.3. Scroll down to locate Add-ins under Connected Apps and Add-ins in the Settings window and tap on this item

2.4. Scroll down to locate RG Email Sidebar for Salesforce and tab on the Plus (Add) button next to it

Uninstalling the Add-In from MS Outlook for iOS

To uninstall the Add-In from your MS Outlook for iOS, follow the same steps as described above and uncheck the box next to RG Email Sidebar for Salesforce at the final step. Note that this action will remove the Add-In from the corresponding MS Exchange / Office 365 account, thus making it unavailable in your desktop MS Outlook or browser-based Outlook on the web; however, RG Email Sidebar MS Exchange ↔ Salesforce synchronization will keep going.

 

 


 

 

How to install RG Email Sidebar Add-In in MS Outlook for Android

1. Install and set up MS Outlook for Android on your Android device, if you do not have it installed

2. If you installed the Add-In in your MS Exchange / Office 365 account previously, it will automatically appear in your MS Outlook for Android after you log in to this email account. Otherwise follow the steps below to install the Add-In:

2.1. Tap the (Menu) button in the upper left corner of MS Outlook for Android interface

2.2. Tap the Gear (Settings) button in the lower left corner of the modal window that appears

2.3. Scroll down to locate Add-ins under Connected Apps and Add-ins in the Settings window and tap on this item

2.4. Scroll down to locate RG Email Sidebar for Salesforce and tab on the Plus (Add) button next to it
